ANNUAL ESSAY & POSTER CONTEST

Packages are sent to primary and secondary schools all across Canada to encourage students to learn about Remembrance Day.Posters, literary (poems and essays) public speaking and video competitions are methods of accomplishing this and prizes are awarded. As well, bursaries are available to students entering university or college.

For more information please contact Youth and Education chair Anne Salt. Email akenmiller@hotmail.com.  Applications are in the Club Room area at our branch in Byron.

HOW IT ALL WORKS

The poetry and essay (literary) and poster contests and public speaking are done at the branch level. The first place winners go onto the next level. For public speaking each branch determines their own prizes.
