Good evening comrades,

Please see the weekly events schedule below and the posters attached for upcoming events. We hope you can make it out to some of them.  I have also attached the December calendar for your reference.

We had an extremely busy weekend starting with 116 attendees at Trivia on Friday night, another 109 at the Chili Cook off on Saturday and many people who dropped into the Christmas Bazaar today.  

We experienced record sales at Trivia and there were lots of new faces in the crowd. Kudos to Curt and his team for the endless hours that they put into Trivia every Friday. The Chili Cook off was also a huge success in honour of our good friend John Skowronski. Thanks to Sue and her team for making this event one to be remembered and thanks to all of the contestants for taking the time and expense of entering a chili.  We couldn’t have held it without you.  And let’s not forget our hard-working bartenders who provide excellent service to all who attend the legion.    

Along with all of our regular events this week there will be Live Entertainment on Saturday night with Cruise Control from 7-11. Get your dancing shoes shined up and come out and have some fun. Lastly, we are trying to come up with ideas of other events that you all might enjoy.  We have been searching for someone who can do Rock and Roll Bingo (or something similar) or other fun things we can offer on Saturday nights.  If you have any ideas or know anyone who can offer their services, please let Sue know.
